The SIVA Entrepreneurship Development Program focuses on Empowerment, Leadership, Livelihoods, & Sustainability. The program is not just about starting a business—it’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and driving sustainable livelihoods. Our Entrepreneurship Development Programs are designed to empower aspiring youth and women with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to transform their ideas into thriving enterprises.
SIVA works with youth and women's groups who are not even considering livelihood options. Through our interventions, we help them acquire skills for alternative livelihoods, showing them a way to earn an income. The program enables these youths and women to become part of the national economic mainstream and helps them become contributing members to India's GDP.
While cities have developed rapidly, many rural areas continue to struggle with poverty, low living standards, limited infrastructure, agricultural challenges, unemployment, and the overuse of natural resources. These issues affect the health, nutrition, education, and overall well-being of families over time.
Our rural livelihood program is preparing the youth and women by focusing on villages. We help rural communities develop new skills, both in farming and other areas, to create more job opportunities and increase income.
We also support underprivileged youth, women, and young adults in rural and nearby areas by helping them learn new skills. This opens up job opportunities for those who are unemployed or discouraged.
Our mission is to give deprived youth a second chance and empower women by offering sustainable livelihood opportunities. We do this through training in technical, business, and life skills that help people earn an income.
We offer entrepreneurship and leadership training to help them gain the confidence and connections they need to become business leaders.
We help people access seed funding and business expansion loans through microfinance institutions.
We support rural marketing and help identify new business opportunities in areas such as health, clean energy, water, and sanitation.
We connect people with grassroots entrepreneurs who provide valuable support and guidance.

The Nano-Market Collective is SIVA Shiksha’s initiative to create micro-scale, community-driven marketplaces that empower small entrepreneurs and artisans. By promoting collectivisation, shared resources, and market access, it enables local businesses to reach customers, scale sustainably, and build resilient economic communities.
SIVA's efforts in building rural entrepreneurship have ushered in a holistic transformation in the lives of many associated with the network, enhancing their skills and business knowledge, helping them establish and scale their existing businesses, and venture into new and innovative avenues.
